7. Subscription and Billing

7.1 Business Subscription Model

Business users may be subject to monthly subscription plans, per-booking fees, or other commercial pricing models offered by BukHut.

A one-month trial period may be offered to eligible businesses. Any trial, renewal, recurring charge, or automatic billing arrangement will be presented to the business before payment obligations begin, and businesses are responsible for reviewing the applicable plan terms before continuing.

At the end of the trial period, subscription charges may commence or per-booking billing may apply depending on the selected plan and the disclosures accepted by the business.

Businesses are responsible for ensuring valid payment methods remain available for active subscriptions or billing obligations.

7.2 Customer Payments

Customers do not pay subscription fees for using BukHut. Customers only pay for services booked through businesses listed on the platform.

8. Payments and Payment Processing

Payments on BukHut are processed through third-party payment providers, including Stripe.

BukHut does not store full payment card information.

Users agree that payment providers may process transaction-related information in accordance with their own policies and terms.

BukHut reserves the right to delay payouts, hold funds temporarily, investigate suspicious transactions, or suspend transactions associated with disputes, fraud, abuse, or chargeback risks.

9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation and refund outcomes are subject to applicable law, statutory consumer rights, business policies, payment provider rules, and the facts of the booking.

9.1 Business Cancellation

If a business cancels a confirmed booking before the scheduled appointment time, the customer may be entitled to a full refund of amounts paid for the affected service, subject to applicable law and payment provider limitations.

9.2 Customer Cancellation

If a customer cancels within 12 hours of the scheduled appointment time, the customer may not be entitled to a full refund where the business has incurred reasonable costs or losses as a result of the late cancellation.

A minimum booking fee of GBP 5, or another reasonable amount defined by the business and disclosed to the customer, may be retained where legally permitted. The remaining balance, where applicable, may be refunded to the customer.

9.3 Customer No-Show

If a customer fails to attend a scheduled appointment without cancelling before the appointment time, and the business confirms the no-show, the business may be entitled to retain part or all of the service fee where legally permitted and reasonable in the circumstances.

9.4 Refund Discretion

Refund determinations may depend on platform records, cancellation timing, business policies, dispute investigations, payment provider limitations, statutory rights, and applicable law.

BukHut reserves the right to make operational decisions regarding platform-mediated refund handling where necessary.

In the event of a dispute between a customer and a business:

  • both parties may be required to cooperate with BukHut
  • BukHut may request additional evidence or communication

Where necessary, payments or pending payouts may be temporarily held, and transactions may remain suspended until investigations are concluded.
